Brand-New Grown-Ups: Fan Fiction

19 Jul , 2016   Pauline   Video

It’s been a while since we did an episode about work. We hope you enjoyed the change-up. Fan fiction is something that we encounter a lot in the entertainment/creative industries. Sometimes it’s amazing how other people have interpreted existing characters or stories. That’s cool to see, but where does the line need to be drawn between creativity and originality? And should fan fiction be included in your portfolio? Those are some questions that young (or old) professionals may be asking themselves, and we discussed them in this video.

You may have noticed we took a little break from the blog. We realized that promoting the blog posts wasn’t helping our YouTube analytics very much. From now on instead of writing a blog post for each and every video, we will post when we have something important to say, big news or occasionally just to keep the blog updated. You can catch all of our videos on our YouTube channel, so be sure to subscribe. There’s also the BNGU playlist just for this show.

We hope you enjoyed this video! If you did, we would appreciate if you hit the “Like” button, and share it with friends. We want to keep the show balanced between life and work topics, but sometimes we just can’t think of what to talk about. So, we would love to hear your suggestions! As always, we invite you to discuss your thoughts on the episode and ask us questions, in the YouTube comments or on social media.

If you don’t have time to sit and watch 15 minutes of video, you can follow our discussions as an audio podcast on iTunes, Google Play, or directly through the dedicated feed below:
